CASA Seeking Volunteers to Advocate for Foster Children

The Court Appointed Special Advocates of El Paso program or CASA is looking for several hundred more helpers. From their website:  “CASA of El Paso trains and supports volunteers from the community to advocate for abused and neglected children who need representation in the family court system, striving to provide them a safe and permanent home.”

According to KFOX, “El Paso was selected for the pilot program called “Every child has a chance – it’s you” campaign. These volunteers serve as the voices of foster care children in courts and help them find a permanent, stable home.”  You can watch CASA’s video on their Facebook Page.

If you feel like you would be a good candidate, you can apply at casaofelpaso.com or call 546-8146.
