Does Jim Valenti’s Evaluation Score Reflect How Well UMC is Doing?

How is it that UMC has a D  in hospital safety and almost lost its accreditation this year and its CEO’s evaluation score was raised from 71.4 to 82.4 and he got a raise?  Shouldn’t there be a correlation between how well a hospital has scored and the score the CEO received on his evaluation?

It would be interesting to hear the justifications the UMC board used to raise his score, wouldn’t YOU like to know why you gave him a raise?
